Step1
  •       Put the legs (legs are called “standards” in the seating business) in an upright position where you would like them to go, from the center of one standard to center of the other standard should be exactly 22 inches apart.
4
Step 2
  •           Pre-drill the holes before screwing in the screws, or setting the anchors.
  •           Now you can align the standard to the holes and drill the screws in. (The screws should be loosened a little, so that later you can fit the back of the seat, in place properly.)

Step 3
  •        * Find the pins. Notice one end is blunt and the other end is more pointed.
  •          On the top of the standard there is a hole. You need to hammer blunt end of the pin into the hole, after the pin is in place, get the bushing, it is plastic, and put the bushing over the pin.( Putting the bushing over the pin is important for the chairs operation.)

Step 4
  •         You are now installing the seat back.
  •         Find the tension springs. The spring will only fit in one way on the back part of the chair (This is shown in the diagram) You should have one tension spring on each side of the seats back.

Step 5
  •    On the bottom of the seat back will be a open-ended slot, on both sides. Place the chairs back in-between the Standards. On the inner side of the Standard there should be a post to put the open-ended slot into (it is best to install the chairs back at a 45 Degree forward angle, as shown in picture)

Step 6
  •       The Seat back must be level, not cockeyed. Now bring the chair back to a straight up and down position, (Do this by pushing the chairs back away from your body) while you are pressing firmly down on the back. If you have pushed firmly enough the pins on the standard will click into the slotted holes on the side of the back. It will now be in the upright position.

Step 7
  •         After that is done you are going to install the seat cushions. On each side of the seat cushion there is a bracket with a hole in it. On the Standard there is also a bracket with a hole in it. Align the seat cushion bracket up with the Standard bracket. Now with a 10mm. socket (A socket extension can help.) Screw the bolts in and make sure they are tight.

Step 8
  •      Now that you are done with everything else all you should have to do now is go back to the floor and tighten the screws in the floor.
  •     The Final product should look like this picture.
